Raw Linseed Oil and Tung Oil are both oil extracts from seeds, and serve a similar purpose. Raw Linseed Oil seeps into the wood, while Tung oil stays on top. Tung oil gives a warm finish while raw linseed oil gives a matte finish. Tung oil has better at waterproofing.
